The annual Youth Leadership Workshop was held on April 10th at the Spauldings Library in Suitland, Maryland. It was lead by Rosalyn Coates and assisted by Kelli Petty. There were 16 youth participating, plus parents who served as the Critique staff. The youth were absolutely awesome. They spoke on subjects such as suffering from allergies, dancing, racism, sports and Legos. They learned the art of podium ettiquette, preparing and delivering the speech, how to improve their speaking voice and various other techniques to improve verbal communication.
