The Youth Committee
The Youth Committee is composed of the Chapter 2nd Vice President and Youth Group Chairpersons. The Chairperson of the Youth Committee shall be the 2nd Vice President. His/her duty is to provide the coordination and planning of youth activities in keeping with the local, regional and national goals of Tots and Teens, Inc. It shall be the duty of each Youth Group Chairperson to plan and budget with its respective group and propose an annual program of activities. Their proposal will be incorporated in the annual budget, which is submitted to the chapter body at the September meeting.
Youth Group Chairpersons
· Groups I, II and III, respectively, shall elect a Chairperson by the June meeting. · Groups IV and V will select the Chairperson for their respective group by the June meeting. · Group V will organize and select a Chairperson by the June meeting.
The Youth Group Chairperson is responsible for the programming and budgeting of group activities and shall serve with the 2nd Vice President on the Youth Activities Committee. Group Chairpersons shall submit a proposed program of activities for the year, and an estimated budget by the September meeting. At the annual meeting, the financial report shall describe how monies for youth activities were expended. A Co-Chairperson will assist the Chairperson in his/her duties.
